What ages and skill level are the PGA Camps geared toward?
PGA Camps are offered to young athletes ages 6 through 17. Most of our programs are designed to accommodate players of all skill levels from beginner to top high school and competitive tournament players. For the more advanced junior golfer, PGA Camps now offers Advanced Programs including, Advanced, Specialty and Competitive Edge Day Camps. To learn more about Advanced Programsclick here.
How are the campers supervised?
The campers are supervised by the staff both on and off the course. Our staff is chosen not only for their golf teaching ability, but also for their ability to understand how to best work with children and teens.
Is my child on the driving range all day? What other activities are planned?
The majority of our camp sessions are spent out on the practice facility but our time there is by no means boring and overly repetitive. With our unique curriculum, developed exclusively for us by the PGA of America, we integrate learning with fun. Our instruction combines skill development with games, friendly competitions, and other activities that serve as a vehicle for learning, and lets kids have a whole lot of fun at the same time!
What if my child has never golfed?
We are excited to welcome the “new junior golfer” in that one of our primary goals is to introduce the great game of golf to as many “future golfers” as possible. Our curriculum has been developed to make the introduction to the game relaxed, non-intimidating, and most of all fun
How can I be assured that my child will be safe and supervised?
Your child’s safety is our first priority. For more information, please see our safety guidelines. Our entire staff undergoes an extensive interviewing process and we also conduct extensive background checks on each of our staffers. We only hire teaching professionals who have experience working with juniors and understand how to make children feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
Is there a benefit to registering for consecutive weeks of camps?
By registering for multiple weeks of camp, your child will experience continued game development, as our instructors will have the opportunity to really get to know your child, his or her game, and how to get the most out of your child’s game.
Is there a sibling or group discount available?

Yes, we are pleased to offer discounts and promotions, including incentives for groups and siblings. Only one discount applies per registration. The discount or promotion of greater value to you will be automatically applied at checkout. Check out all available incentives being offered this summer.

Are there any special clothes or equipment that I need to purchase?

It is recommended campers bring their own clubs to camp, but if junior clubs are not available, we recommend that you contact your golf course for possible rentals/loaner clubs. Additionally, EPEC, our junior club partner, is offering a rental program for PGA Campers. For more information on the EPEC rental program, please Click Here. Golf shirts are recommended for campers, as they are often required attire on the course. Lastly, golf or tennis shoes are acceptable.

Where can I find detailed information for a camp that I’m already registered for such as what to bring, schedules, directions etc.?
After you register for one of our camps, a detailed confirmation and registration packet is emailed to you. The registration packet contains answers to all the important questions about camps, including what to bring with you, what time to arrive, the availability of loaner/rental clubs as well as directions and maps to the facilities.
I paid a deposit when I registered. When is the balance due?
Your balance is due by May 12 (for summer camp programs only). Your credit card on file will be automatically charged for the remaining balance on May 12, 2023. If you are registering for a camp after May 12, then the total amount of tuition is due upon registration.
What is your cancellation and transfer policy?

Campers who wish to cancel 14 days (30 days for Competitive Edge Day Camps) or more prior to the camp start date will be issued a PARTIAL REFUND less a $50 processing fee ($100 for Competitive Edge Day Camps) and less the non-refundable, one-time, annual registration fee ($20 for Half Day Camps, $25 for Modified Full Day Camps, $30 for Full Day Camps and $50 for Competitive Edge Camps). For campers who do not qualify for a partial refund as stated above, a PARTIAL CAMP CREDIT will be issued less a $50 processing fee ($100 for Competitive Edge Day Camps) and less the non-refundable, one-time, annual registration fee ($20 for Half Day Camps, $25 for Modified Full Day Camps, $30 for Full Day Camps and $50 for Competitive Edge Camps).

In the instance of inclement weather, we will make every effort to determine whether or not to cancel class in advance, so please check your email. In most cases, drizzle or light rain does not constitute a case for cancellation. Students should pack rain gear in their bags for each session. Any sessions cancelled due to inclement weather or otherwise by PGA Camps will be made up at a day and time specified by PGA Camps. If no make-up date is possible, a CAMP CREDIT will be issued for any day(s) missed due to weather cancellation.

If PGA Camps must cancel your Camp session for reasons due to unavailability of staff or facilities or due to other reasons beyond our reasonable control (including strikes (except by our own employees), shortages, riots, insurrection, fires, flood, storm, explosions, acts of God, war, terrorism, public health emergency, civil preparedness, governmental action, labor conditions, earthquakes and material shortages), PGA Camps will issue you a voucher equal to 100% of your Camp registration fees to a future Camp session for any of our Camps. Any travel losses related to a Camp cancellation will not be refunded. Camper and Parent each waive any and all damages that may otherwise arise out of any camp cancellation and agrees to accept said credits as liquidated damages and Camper’s and Parent’s sole remedy.
